Name Rio, hatched in November 2022 Average price for handtame pineapple conure is between £250-£350 and some shops sell for £450. I'm selling at thisprice because I've spent alot time to train her, everyday minimum 20min in the parks, outside the house. Rio is not only tame but free flight trained. Think about it if you are buying for a child she will be able to take Rio with them in the parks. Don't have to worry about him flying away through the window. Over time the bond gets stronger and Rio will not leave you alone in the park. In the beginning you need to keep an eye on her where she goes, She is traind on the whistle, if she gose too far while flying just whistle and she will return in flight, if she has lost you and can't see you then she will squawk back when whistle. So far Rio has flown few times in parks, in normal cold condition, used to go to school with my children. flown in high winds outside the house, dose not get spooked by pigeons, magpie, cars, Van Rio is on pellet diet. At the moment she is on Hagen but going to change to nutribird G14 pellets. she never had seeds so she doesn't know what she is missing. Pellet diet means less mess in the house, healthy in long term and easy to train/bribe her with treats. Her treats are pistachio,pine nuts, almond, dried pineapple When she was 2months old she broke her leg so i spent near £500 on vets fee and got her leg fixed. You wont even notice as she is moving and grabbing with the claws but I wanted to tell everything. I'm happy to show her the free flight when you come to purchase. Hey fellow conure lovers. I have a few baby conures for sale that I’m hand rearing, I’d love to keep them all but I’ve a very small place. So I got a pair of baby conures 2 years ago and hand reared them myself and they’re fully trained, friendly and social. We did a gender test and turns out it was a male and a female and they recently laid eggs that’ve now hatched , the first one on the 1st of March. You can have it now if you’re interested and if you know how to take care of a newly hatched conure (keeping in mind you’ll have to formula feed them and keep them warm) and you want to hand rear it yourself so that it’s attached to you and used to your home, otherwise you can reserve until they’re a bit older because they’re very delicate right now. Hand reared baby green cheek conures are now hatching. They will be super tame, DNA sexed (at around 4 weeks old) and are all rung. I take the chicks from 2 weeks old raising them, feeding them so they will be super-tame and friendly with humans. All my birds come with a care sheet and a DNA card. A deposit for them is £50, (no deposit is taken until the chick colour can be identified), then the rest of the payment upon collection. The new owners will get daily/weekly updates on them, the birds will be taught to step up, eat pellets, seeds, all fruit and veg and be friendly (they will be ready to go to their new homes around mid-April onwards).
