Tips when making dog birthday cakes

  • Never use chocolate as an ingredient as it is poisonous to dogs.
  • Cakes should be given as a rare treat. Frequent cake intake may result in tartar build-up and cause tooth decay.
  • Make sure the peanut butter used does not contain xylitol. It is potentially toxic to dogs and can cause liver failure and seizures.
