Life started out great for DrWill Powers. He had three furry friends that he loved dearly—Arcturus, Cygnus, and Sirius. Two of which were Guinness World Record titleholders. Arcturus for the tallest cat to ever live and Cygnus for the cat with the longest tail. The popularity of his feline friends helped in fundraising for the rescue of street cats in Detroit. Dr Will and his wife were also invited on TV shows and charity events. Everything was going smoothly for the couple.
However, in 2017, a big tragedy struck. The Powers’ home burned down and the couple lost their three cats. The accident left the doctor devastated and it took him over a year to fully recover. It was when Dr Will decided to make a big change in his life, so he founded his very own family practice clinic called the Powers Family Medicine.
Unlike the typical clinics, it has a theme which was inspired by the two things Dr. Power’s loved the most: cats and video games. When he shared this idea to some of his colleagues, they chided that his plans will likely end up in failure since people want to go to a simple, sterile, and professional-looking clinic for medical care.

Despite their admonitions, Dr Powers built his dream clinic anyway and it became hugely successful. Just recently, the clinic was also the #1 patient-rated family practice in their state after only six months of operations. Their quirky clinic became a simple paradise for their patients.
The clinic has three therapy cats: Phoenix, Hyperion, and Polaris.
These kitties also have work schedules in the clinic. Phoenix works Mondays and Thursdays, Hyperion on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Polaris on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Some of their rooms have special prism film fitted on the windows which produce rainbows on a sunny day.
Whilst waiting for their turn, patients are given free rein to play with the gaming consoles inside the clinic.
There is even a charging area available for their phones.
The exam rooms are loaded with gaming console-themed designs and trinkets as well. Dr Will Powers created a stress-free medical environment that not only keeps patients entertained, but it also brings joy to them.
