We bought Venus on 24th July this year not knowing the state she was in.
All we knew was that she self welped 6 puppies 10 weeks prior to being sold to me.
The pictures I was sent of her shown her tied up outside, her nose all dry and crusted.
When we got there to pick her up, the man didn't know her name, couldn't care any less about her, just wanted her gone and the money from her.
We got Venus home she was severely underweight, very shy and timid and her nipples were largely inflamed.
Fast forward to now, her nipples have gone back to normal, but she's clashing with my other dogs, she's getting quite feisty and strong-headed.
Venus would need a home where she is preferably the only dog and would get endless amounts of attention, love, cuddles and not be used as she was before.
She's great with children (mine are 3&1) and got on great with my dogs at first. But the last few weeks she's pinning them down to show her dominant side.
she is very loving towards me as her owner, always wants a cuddle, Although still shy and underweight, she's a really good eater and loves a good walk (has to wear her lead)
She doesn't like to be in a cage.
Venus will be 3 years old on 7th February.

The advertiser should allow you to personally see the puppies with the puppies' mother. If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home or the address stated in the advert is not the accurate and permanent location of the pet, consider this a red flag.
Avoid online payment
Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the puppy, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the puppy. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.
Responsible Advertiser
The advertiser should only release the puppies when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the puppy from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.
If you have reasons to believe that an Advertiser is not genuine, please report them to us immediately.
