On February 5th our family pet, Luna, had her first litter of puppies. All 5 have thrived, and forever homes have been secured for 2 of them. We now have 1, black and tan girl, 1 black and tan boy, and a handsome dapple boy all waiting to meet their forever family.
The black and tan girl was the first born of the litter. She has delicate facial features a sweet, loving temperament and just the right amount of cheeky playfulness. She may be small but she is in charge of her siblings, and loves to run around and play. She's also a big fan of cuddles and tummy rubs.
Black and tan boy is a funny little chap. Wrestling and tug of War are his favourite games, as well as claiming random objects as his own, including your socks! He provides no end of entertainment, and in true dachshund style is a loyal and cuddly friend.
Finally dapple boy. Just like his siblings he is full of fun and adventure, but is also the one who declares nap time! He loves to cuddle up on your shoulder, and will happily stay there for hours!
All puppies have been raised in our home. They have been weaned onto both wet and dry food, they happily eat and drink out of plastic, metal or ceramic bowls. They still like to snuggle up and suckle on mum, but this is for comfort. Mum is our black and tan family pet. She is not KC registered as she was born abroad. But her family moved to the UK and we welcomed her into our home when she was 16 weeks old. Dad is a KC registered dapple. His registration details will be provided. All puppies are used to normal family routines, love to play with our 5 year old son, and are used to cats.
Will be ready to leave on Easter weekend, and will up to date on worming and flea treatment as well as being microchipped and 1st injections.

We encourage you to read these guidelines before buying or adopting a dog.
Carry out the research so you have the necessary knowledge of the pet you are getting. Since owning a dog is a big commitment, you should research about the breed fully to make sure it fits your current lifestyle and budget.
Take time to visit the advertiser's home to confirm if they are genuine. Do not settle for online communications and photos. UK Pets does not verify the authenticity of all advertisers. The advertiser should allow you to personally see the puppies with the puppies' mother. If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home or the address stated in the advert is not the accurate and permanent location of the pet, consider this a red flag.
Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the puppy, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the puppy. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.
The advertiser should only release the puppies when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the puppy from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.
