just perfect, 5 weeks and 3 days old, ready for their for ever homes from Nov 18th.

2 Black and Tan girls, 2 shaded red and 1 red boys left. Dam is Black and Tan imported from Hungary, Missy is 3 years old now. Sire is a red, with champion blood lines called Sunset Comet (more pics can be found online of him). Both parents are fit, healthy and PRA cleared with no signs of IVDD.

The puppies live with us in our home along with a grumpy cat, 2 crazy kittens, an old cranky jack Russel, an old loony lab x beagle and 2 working security German shepherds so they will be very well socialised with people and animals.

Each puppy has its own personality ranging from opera singer, trouble starter and even a cuddly “Eyore” (he just loves his cuddles to fall asleep and saves his energy for eating and sleeping. They have just learnt that their legs can move faster (but not always in the same direction) and that they can jump but they are still working on improving their handbrake skills!! They are being weaned onto raw food, but don’t let this put you off, if you don’t want to raw feed we can introduce them to a dried dachshund puppy food for you. Each puppy will come to you with the food they are on, their favourite toy and a comforter blanket smelling of mummy to help them feel more settled.

The puppies will be microchipped, vet checked and will be fully up to date with their worming treatment (so far mum was wormed from day 40 until pups were 2 days old and then they were wormed at 2 and 4 weeks old and will be done again at 6 weeks (and at 8 if they are still with me).

A none refundable deposit of £300 is required to secure your puppy and plenty of “pup-dates” will be sent until your special puppy moves into your lives at your request.

If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home or the address stated in the advert is not the accurate and permanent location of the pet, consider this a red flag.

Avoid online payment

Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the puppy, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the puppy. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.

Responsible Advertiser

The advertiser should only release the puppies when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the puppy from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.
