I have an elderly Nanny seeking a new home. It might be a long shot but as someone may have another elderly lady and doesn't want to restart a new herd but a lonely lady that maybe needs a companion to spend her twilight years with!
This lady is about 10 years old and I need to trim down my herd so have to make cuts where I can so I'm hoping there might be a situation where she can live out her days in ease with a companion.
Homes are checked and it would only be to the right situation for her.
Safety Notice: NEVER send a payment or deposit online before viewing the Pet to confirm the advert is genuine. Read our Covid-19 safe buying guide.
Be extra cautious with online transactions!
We encourage you to read these guidelines before buying or adopting a horse.
As with any type of purchase, make the necessary research so you know what you are supposed to get. Since owning a horse is a huge commitment, research about the breed if it fits your current lifestyle and budget.
Take time to visit the advertiser's home to confirm if they are genuine. Do not settle for online communications and photos. UK Pets does not verify the authenticity of all advertisers. The advertiser should allow you to personally see the horses. If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home, consider this a red flag.
Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the horse, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the horse. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.
The advertiser should only release the horses when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the horse from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.
If you have reasons to believe that an Advertiser is not genuine, please report them to us immediately.
