At stud: Mungo / Izznberr High Court
Depending on where you are, I may be able to come to you if you are restricted to travel for an extra charge.
Stud appointments are done naturally, outside in a large contained area.
Pure bred golden show cocker spaniel and ACTUALLY health tested stud dog - not just hereditary clear. Of the 4 KC Assured Breeder required tests which cocker spaniels should have, he has had ALL 4.
Plus an additional two scheme tests recommended by the Kennel Club for spaniels.
And don't just believe me, you and your buyers can see all 6 health test results for yourself on the Kennel Club website - screen shot attached (under Health Test results finder on the KC site).
Very few stud dogs have had this many tests and they are very reassuring to puppy buyers.
Mungo (Izznberr High Court), an exceptional, popular, proven, handsome pedigree golden SHOW cocker spaniel with many show champions in his lines (marked in red on the chart picture attached). His pups are very popular (golden is very desirable but a recessive gene so hard to get). He is a very charming stud and the ladies do love him.
He has a stunning coat and is a truly golden colour - one of the few RECOGNISED spaniel colours by the Kennel Club - no white markings on his face (a 'fault' according to the Kennel Club) and he doesn't carry sable (which is NOT a recognised KC colour).
Amazing temperament. Super friendly and very chilled. He lives at home with us and my other two (female) spaniels so is quite the gentleman.
He is Kennel Club registered AND extensively health tested.
You will be provided with a printed copy to take with you of:
- A certificate of the pedigree of the pups from this mating between your girl and him, highlighting co-efficents, show champs and previous generations - useful to show buyers.
- A certificate from me confirming he is the stud of your litter and the reassurance I will speak to any prospective purchasers to confirm the same.
- A copy of his pedigree paperwork.
- 5 generation paperwork which highlights in red the many show champion winners in his line.
- DNA test results to confirm he is prcd-PRA clear
- DNA test results to confirm he is FN and AMS clear
- DNA test to confirm he is AON clear
- A copy of his annual booster injections (last done Dec 20).
- Eye test results (at the Ralph in Marlow) - all clear, which also confirms no hereditary diseases, including PRA and HC
- Gonioscopy results - all clear.
- I also pass on all the puppy enquires I receive (see bottom of this ad)
He’s an experienced and proven stud (some of his more recent litter pictures attached). You can also take pics of him and your dam together when you are here.
He lives in a spacious house set within 12 acres so there is plenty of room. He is in Bradford On Avon, near Bath Wiltshire.
He charges £350 for two matings - suggest 48 hours apart. And a free return within 9 months in the unlikely event of no pregnancy. I can provide advice and support - and I get DAILY enquires for his puppies so pass these on to you as well.
I have had enough experience to know that natural mating is not for every dam, so I can offer the option of artificial insemination as well for the same price. However, I have great success with natural matings and I much prefer this way (so does Mungo!).
All enquiries welcome. I am happy to answer any questions and you are welcome to meet him beforehand if you wish to and I can put you in touch with other owners who have had litters with him. I can also send you a video of him and more pics.
For these of you making enquires about his puppies, please detail your phone number and I will happily pass on to the owners of his latest litter.

Be extra cautious with online transactions!
We encourage you to read these guidelines before buying or adopting a dog.
Carry out the research so you have the necessary knowledge of the pet you are getting. Since owning a dog is a big commitment, you should research about the breed fully to make sure it fits your current lifestyle and budget.
Take time to visit the advertiser's home to confirm if they are genuine. Do not settle for online communications and photos. UK Pets does not verify the authenticity of all advertisers. The advertiser should allow you to personally see the puppies with the puppies' mother. If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home or the address stated in the advert is not the accurate and permanent location of the pet, consider this a red flag.
Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the puppy, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the puppy. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.
The advertiser should only release the puppies when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the puppy from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.

As early as a thirteen-week-old puppy, a cocker spaniel can be introduced to necessary training. In fact, Northumbria Police have begun training four cocker pups (Henry, Herbert, Hartley, and Hunter) to become the future Northumbria Police specialist search dogs.

Should you get a cocker spaniel, the UK’s most popular spaniel breed, or a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, a favoured breed by many royalties? Both spaniel breeds make great family pets that it’s hard to choose between the two. Let’s assess and see which breed is more suited to you and your lifestyle.
