I had removed Flamingos advert as she had been reserved for delivery to day Sunday. However due to a bereavement in the close family of the new owner we have had to cancel and Flamingo is now available again. So if you are you looking for a really lovely GCCF active registered Ragdoll Queen? If so you may have found just the young lady you’re looking for. Please let me introduce you to the most delicious youngster. Her pedigree name is Flamingo; she is a stunning heavyweight Red Colourpoint girl. Her colouration is beautifully blended between dark peach red points and cream main. She is a lovely affectionate young lady indeed. We are no longer continuing with our breeding hobby as the demands of full-time work and family mean the cats are not getting the same dedication we once gave. To this end we are neutering most of our cats but a few exceptional individuals will be going forward to help expand someone else's breeding lines. Flamingo is an example of one such girl. She had a successful first litter last year passing her amazing personalities onto both her daughters. She also regained her nice chunky stamp quickly after weaning. Something I love to see is a queen that blossoms again so quickly after weaning. She has a generous nature ever wishing to be by the side of her Human, but when raising her babies she was all about being Mum. She is also a bit of a goat in that she will try anything left around including roast potatoes in a tray and rich tea biscuits. Keep your food under lock and key with this hungry hippo girl around Lol! Flamingo is thoughtfully bred from our Baggyrags Vanilla Skies, a gorgeous Red girlie now retired from a long line of successful queens; another super quality girl. She is down from my amazing foundation stud Adniolo Casper Claus. He was known for his excellent type and stunning dark blue eye colour. He was thoughtfully bred down from one of the first Reds imported to the UK, Maralla's Hotshot, and bred down systematically to traditional line cats to improve type and authenticity. Flamingo is now beautifully matured and very ready to mate again as her first litter were born almost a year ago. She is in full call as I write this advert. The high percentage of traceability to the foundation cats of this breed makes Flamingo very desirable as this kind of breeding is often lost when working with Red series lines. Flamingo has a wonderfully plumed tail and correct rabbit type deep textured fur. With  stunning blue eyes along with her nice type and excellent nature, she really is a queen not to be missed out on. A standard breeding ownership contract/agreement will apply to this sale, limiting the sale of any male progeny of this girl. Boys must all be sold as pets. The contract also contains a neuter clause for pet kittens before they leave to join their forever families. I would truly love Flamingo to be part of a small caring breeding home that not only wishes this girlie to enhance and offer diversity to another breeding programme, but who would also care for and love this young lady as she deserves. Ideally you would own at least one male of your own as I believe this would be better than sending her out to stud but given it shouldn’t take too long to settle this confident lass, her next call would be a nice time to mate her. Just the right sort of time to settle her into her new home and win her trust and love but that will of course be your decision when the time comes. In short she has great promise. Nothing not to like about this girlie she is a show/breed quality girl ticking all the boxes. We never make decisions on letting cats go as active breed cats until we are sure they have all the credentials we feel necessary to remain in the gene pool. We tend to run on our youngsters past 6-9 months or older to be sure that what we think we can see as great potential at a young age remains and grows. We do not tend to register young kittens as active for this very reason. We like to get through all the gangly stages and regularly assess change to be sure. With that in mind we feel when you own a Ragdoll from us you will be over the moon and see that our patience in making the breed quality assessments over a longer period means you have a chance of a maturing kitten/young adult. That is the very best we can offer. So this girl offers a wonderful opportunity to add such class to your breeding plans. Flamingo is from HCM DNA tested normal lines and has her own test certificate lodged with the GCCF. We have added lots of pics of Flamingo and a video on YouTube if you search Baggyrags Flamingo. Photos taken last weekend. This is a really hard decision to advertise Flamingo and as usual I have dragged my heels but seeing her in full bloom calling and in need of a mate has spurred me on to find her perfect new home. As mentioned we feel she will enhance your own breeding lines by bringing in new and diverse bloodlines. Flamingo is fully vaccinated until November 2019. She is microchipped and has had full vet health checks. She will come with a full leaving pack including toy, litter and food as well as all her relevant paperwork including her HCM normal test with Langfords. We are very happy to send a screenshot Pedigree so you can compare her lines as a suitable match to your existing cats but this will only be sent to serious enquirers. Thanks for taking the time to read through this ad. If you feel you can offer Flamingo a first class breeding home then I look forward to hearing from you.
