Please read this in full before responding. Manolo, my eldest daughter's Staffie needs a loving home. He is kind and gentle with his family (including our 6 year-old granddaughter) but is sometimes territorial when visitors arrive. He is also quite big for a Staffie. Unfortunately my daughter's landlord will not allow pets in her house and we have looked after him for the last few months. However as we all work full-time and often long hours we cannot always give him the attention and additional training he needs. He is generally very calm when out walking and doesn't usually bark or react much to people or other dogs. We started using a 'command' spray collar occasionally to control barking when the doorbell rings or strangers enter the house which started to control his reaction. Unfortunately the children lost the remote control for it! We think he would respond positively to someone having the time to give him the time and attention he deserves and maybe some additional training. Spending time with him is very rewarding as he can be very affectionate and loves being made a fuss of. We would love to see him rehomed with someone who can really care for him and give him a life where he isn't alone for such long periods.
