Difficult decision so please no timewasters! Please do your research as although fairly easy to keep you still need to know the basics of good reptile keeping. Its not just the outlay of the tortoise but the food and electricity costs plus any vet bills that may come up unexpectedly in the future. Ok after saying all that, Im selling to a 5* home my lovely tortoise not 100% sure on sex think male he is very active and loves a roam around the house supervised obviously. His shell is in perfect condition no pyramyding at all, Has been kept in a large open top enclosure with correct heat/lighting fed as natural a diet as possible with supplements On occasions i feed him commercial tortoise food sparingly. He loves a bath once a week too A secure garden or a large outside enclosure a must for the hot summer months, this breed of tortoise is a good escape artist!!!!

X1 2 year old russian tortoise, male. Raised in our home. Well socialised and and used to all household noises. Certificate available from original breeding owner. Eats leafy greens, dandelions, and has fruit from time to time in a small amount. (Please Google what fruits and vegetables are allowed). Calcium dust occasionally sprinkled on top of food to support bone health. He should be bathed atleast twice a week to maintain a healthy shell and stay hydrated. He has a palette for his water and food, a hideout to cool down and to bask on, a heat lamp to maintain body heat as they cant produce their own heat as they are cold blooded animals. He lives in an enclosure filled with soil and rocks. ( can decorate it yourself, good to have different textures for him to walk over) Do not clean the enclosure with strong disinfectants as it can be toxic for him. Very Friendly Mediterranean Spur-Thigh tortoise hatchlings available now. These lovely little tortoises hatched last summer and are ready for their new homes. They will need to have an indoor setup (tortoise table, not vivarium) for the first few years of life with access to a heat/UV lamp. Obviously they will eventually need an outside space when they grow bigger! They have been fed exclusively on weeds and flowers, with mineral supplements.
