Advert Details

They were born on the 13th June and will be ready to leave on or after the 12th August when they are eight weeks or older. Their mum and their dad are my family pets and live with me. They can be seen with the kittens and I’m happy to send more photographs and FaceTime/video call when they have been reserved.

They will leave me fully litter trained, scratch post trained, wormed, and treated for fleas before pickup. They will also leave with a little snuggle blanket that smells of mum and siblings, a few toys and some food they have been weaned on to - dry and wet.

They all have a visit to the vets and get Health checked, this includes eyes, ears, limbs, heart and all the usual checks to make sure the kitten is healthy, you will receive a certificate of proof of this vet check. You will be responsible for getting the kittens vaccinations if you choose to do so. This is a personal decision although I do recommend it. I also recommend that these kittens are indoor only.

The price is £650 Per kitten and is non-negotiable, serious people only please. A non refundable holding deposit of £250 is required via bank transfer to reserve your kitten of choice.

Buttercup (mum) is a cream point Himalayan Persian and Columbus (dad) is a silver Persian Chinchilla. Mum and dad can both be seen and I’m happy to send more photographs and FaceTime/video call when they have been reserved.

The kittens are being brought up within a busy household, I am at home all the time and I have four children so they get lots of cuddles very regularly and are very used to being handled. They were wormed at two weeks old and this will be repeated at five weeks and eight weeks just before they leave.

Have you done your research?

Carry out the research so you have the necessary knowledge of the pet you are getting. Since owning a cat is a big commitment, you should research about the breed fully to make sure it fits your current lifestyle and budget.

Have you seen the kitten?

Take time to visit the advertiser's home to confirm if they are genuine. Do not settle for online communications and photos. UK Pets does not verify the authenticity of all advertisers. The advertiser should allow you to personally see the kittens with their mother. If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home or the address stated in the advert is not the accurate and permanent location of the kitten, consider this a red flag.

Avoid online payment

Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the kitten, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the kitten. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.

Documents & Vaccinations

Ask for all the necessary documents such as GCCF, TICA or FIFe certificate and veterinary card. The kitten should have up-to-date vaccinations, as well as deworming and flea treatments. Genuine advertisers would also agree to refunds if health checks on the kitten confirm poor results.

Responsible Advertiser

The advertiser should only release the kittens when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the kitten from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.
