We are having to rehome our beautiful 3 yo white and lilac male (non neutered) old English bulldog, Gus, due being heavily pregnant and a relationship breakdown and I cannot give him the love or attention he deserves
Gus is such a sweetheart of a boy, He’s super friendly but does forget his size at times he’s looking for his forever home with older children(+12years) or adult only home who will be able to give him all the love and attention that he deserves but who are dog savvy and will give him space when needed.
Gus has two settings with new people; some he can be a little worried of and others he will be instantly friendly with and jump up to say hello! Just with that any kids in the home are of secondary school age.
He can be a shy boy at first when meeting new people so anyone looking to rehome him will be asked to come and visit/meet up a couple of times before taking him.
He comes from a loving family home with older children and other female dog (she came as a puppy)….his day, largely revolves around sleeping and cuddles with a mad half hour here and there.
Gus can be unsure around some dogs but is ok with others, so has potential to build up to having some walking friends. He would benefit from a low dog-populated area so that this can be built up slowly, and he’d love his walking routes to be away from busy roads or at quiet times of day/ night
he’s very clever but a bit dense and loves to learn so with some tasty treats should really enjoy training sessions with his new family.
He has an allergy to poultry but no other health issues.
Any questions please get in touch. Due to being 36 weeks pregnant serious enquiries only

We encourage you to read these guidelines before buying or adopting a dog.
Carry out the research so you have the necessary knowledge of the pet you are getting. Since owning a dog is a big commitment, you should research about the breed fully to make sure it fits your current lifestyle and budget.
Take time to visit the advertiser's home to confirm if they are genuine. Do not settle for online communications and photos. UK Pets does not verify the authenticity of all advertisers. The advertiser should allow you to personally see the puppies with the puppies' mother. If they keep on giving you excuses why you could not visit their home or the address stated in the advert is not the accurate and permanent location of the pet, consider this a red flag.
Never pay anything online through money transfer companies especially if you have not personally visited the advertiser and seen the puppy, this includes deposit and delivery cost for the puppy. There is also no means to recover your money if issues arise. Before closing a deal, you must have signed a well-defined contract.
The advertiser should only release the puppies when they are 8 weeks old or older. They should be responsible enough to know that separating the puppy from the mother earlier results in medical and behavioural issues.
If you have reasons to believe that an Advertiser is not genuine, please report them to us immediately.
