This light sussex cockerel currently lives free-range in a pet household. He's really friendly, and comes running when he sees me (although he's less keen on being picked up). I wanted to breed from him, but I have so far been unsuccessful. I'm not sure if it his fault (although I've only seen him tread the hens a few times), or it's a problem with the fertility of the breeding group. Either way, I want to try another cockerel, but I need to sell him on. I'd love to find him a free-range pet home, where breeding isn't a priority, as in every other respect he’s pretty much perfect. He’s free to a good home, but any offers would be much appreciated, as I’m fundraising for an A-Level trip to Borneo.
